Dried Mealworms Treats

Over the summer I started having chicken feed and dog food delivered, about once every three or four weeks. Two weeks ago, I had everything ordered and paid for, but got an additional $5 charge for delivery. Admittedly, I mis-read the multitude of reminder texts coming in to remind me to order and then remind me to place extra orders/updates, and added the code for free delivery. I'm busy, my family meets itself coming and going, and I mistakenly used the code that was texted over and over and over in reminding. And then I had to pay the $5. On the one hand, yes, you delivered something and I paid a delivery fee. On the other, I'd already paid for my order with a charge on my credit card; the feeds were delivered to my house because you come out this way already; and in my request to just let it go and I wouldn't ever do it again, your person opted to enforce the extra charge and $5 payment. Sometimes, the overabundance of text message prompts and reminders with a bunch of information that get lost in the text stream of very busy freelancers with half a dozen active jobs is just the cost of doing business. So, for that $5 shipping fee your business felt so very justified in charging me, you've lost a customer. Bad business. You're a small business and you're clearly in the business of making money, but this is a small community and sometimes people make mistakes ... a little grace goes a long way. That $5 won't keep me from paying my bills, but enough $5 mistakes and loss of customers might keep you from paying yours.
