Proper Christmas Tree Maintenance
Let’s talk about freshly cut Christmas Tree maintenance - if you’ve already found or are going to be looking for a tree, here are a couple of tips to help make your Christmas Tree last at least through the New Year. Our Christmas Tree grower says his will last through Valentine’s Day on his front porch!
- Make sure you get a FRESH CUT on the Christmas Tree (if you purchase from us, we’ll clean it up and put a fresh cut on for you). This is going to help it drink water better.
- Make sure when you take it home to add water immediately! This is going to help keep those needles on.
- When choosing a home for your tree, make sure to keep it away from heat sources such as a fireplace, heater vent and etc. This will help keep those needles from drying out.
- Last, but most important, make sure to check and add water daily! We recommend turning your tap all the way to hot and refilling with hot water.
If you have any questions, just contact us at Pittsboro Feed at (919) 542-2454 and we will help you!
